What’s the difference between the Mini teams?

All Mini teams in our Performance program follow the same class structure and are at the same level (Grade 1). You can select the day that best suits your schedule.

What level is Grade 2?

Our Performance teams compete in the CheerSport division at CheerBrandz events, which are organized by Grades rather than Levels. Grade 1 and 2 routines are shorter in duration and require less tumbling than Novice routines.

Where is my team from last year?

Your team may have been renamed to align with our Royalty theme, or we may no longer offer a team at that level due to changes in athlete skills and ages.

Can I keep my current private lesson spot, and how do I book?

Since our timetable changes each year, we update coach availability annually. Expressions of interest for private lessons will be sent out in mid-January. If available, we will match you with a suitable coach.

Do I need to book a Tumble Class?

These classes are optional and focus on building new skills outside of team training. They are ideal for athletes looking to develop beyond their current mastered skills.

Will my team go to Nationals?

Every athlete gets a Nationals experience in our programs, attending events like CheerBrandz, CheerCon, or AASCF Nationals. Teams are placed in programs based on their abilities and lifestyles.

Can my child join a Development or Allstar Team instead of a Cheersport Team?

These teams have selection criteria, please contact us for an assesment.

My child wants to increase their commitment—what are the options?

That’s fantastic! Depending on availability, your athlete can:

  1. Join a second cheer team.
  2. Enrol in a weekly Tumble Class.
  3. Book private lessons to advance their skills.
What does the enrolment fee cover?

The enrolment fee includes a Shire Elite t-shirt, personal insurance, and administration costs.

Why am I getting an error when enrolling multiple athletes?

Our system requires unique email addresses for each athlete's enrolment and fee subscription. Use a different email address for each athlete to proceed.

Does my child need to be re-enrolled each year?

Yes, athletes must enrol annually into their teams/classes. Enrolment opens each year, and spots are limited. A new payment plan must also be set up each year, as fees do not carry over. You will receive an email to set up your payment plan after enrolling. Enrol here.
