We hope you have all enjoyed your first week back in the gym, it has been so amazing to see all of your faces again! We know things have been a bit crazy and uncertain for the past few months, so we would like to give you all an update on the important upcoming things happening at Shire Elite.
First and foremost, we have received the very exciting news that we will be able to stunt again as of next Wednesday the 1st of July! Yay!!
Term 3
Please be reminded that all regular training will continue through these holidays, therefore our Term 3 will begin on Monday the 6th of July.
With further restrictions being lifted, we will be able to have all classes back in the gym, including S&C and F&L classes as of Term 3. This will mean that the timetable will need to be updated again as of Monday the 6th of July. We will have this updated timetable out to you all next week so that you can organise your new class timetables in advance. Any privates that now clash will be rescheduled.
Fees will return to their normal rates as of Term 3.
Nationals
Unfortunately we weren't able to move the Full-Gym training session in QLD to a day later, so the session will still to take place on Wednesday the 25th of November as originally planned. Please arrive in QLD no earlier (due to Spirit Week) or later (due to the full-gym session) than Tuesday the 24th of November.
We have received an AASCF Nationals guide which has been provided for your viewing below. Please DO NOT book home flights based on this guide. We generally receive 7-8 drafts before any days/times are confirmed. If you are in a Novice stream team (Monarchs, Majesties, Jewels, Diamantés & Hierarchy), we have received confirmation that your performances will be confined to the Friday or Saturday of the Nationals weekend, so it is safe for you to fly home on Sunday the 29th of November. If you are not in a Novice stream team, we continue to recommend flying home no earlier than Monday the 30th of November.
Competition/Uniform Fees
As you know, we have only charged the first of what should be 4 competition/uniform fee instalments, as we wanted to confirm any changes before charging anything more. This year has been hard for all and we want to keep things as affordable as possible for our families, so we have found as many ways as possible to lower the instalments. We have obviously removed the fees for any cancelled competitions, we have also decided to not introduce the elite team training gear this year and have therefore removed those fees also. Below you will see the summary or revised totals for each:
Cheer Sport (without uniform): Originally $240 - Revised $125.
Cheer Sport (with uniform): Originally $400 - Revised $285.
Novice (without uniform): Originally $550 - Revised $360.
Novice (with uniform): Originally $930 - Revised $740.
Adult (without uniform): Originally $440 - Revised $440 (as no competitions have been missed).
Adult (with uniform): Originally $540 - Revised $540 (as no competitions have been missed).
Elite (without uniform): Originally $860 - Revised $485.
Elite (with uniform): Originally $1,240 - Revised $865.
Dance (without uniform): Originally $550 - Revised $360.
Dance (with uniform): Originally $700 - Revised $510.
Normal Crossover fee: Originally $400 - Revised $190
Cheer Sport Crossover fee: Originally $150 - Revised $80
This year, you will only split the total into 3 instalments (instead of the usual 4). The instalments will be withdrawn on Friday the 24th of July and Friday the 18th of September. Subtracting the first instalment (which has already been paid) from your revised competition fee totals and then splitting that remaining fee into two instalments, gives the below instalment amounts:
Cheer Sport (without uniform): Instalments 2 & 3 = $32.50 each.
Cheer Sport (with uniform): Instalments 2 & 3 = $92.50 each.
Novice (without uniform): Instalments 2 & 3 = $112.50 each.
Novice (with uniform): Instalments 2 & 3 = $253.75 each.
Adult (without uniform): Instalments 2 & 3 = $162.50 each.
Adult (with uniform): Instalments 2 & 3 = $200 each.
Elite (without uniform): Instalments 2 & 3 = $135 each.
Elite (with uniform): Instalments 2 & 3 = $277.50 each.
Dance (without uniform): nstalments 2 & 3 = $112.50 each.
Dance (with uniform): Instalments 2 & 3 = $168.75 each.
Normal Crossover fee: Instalments 2 & 3 = added $45 p/instalment.
Cheer Sport Crossover fee: Instalments 2 & 3 = added $21.25 p/instalment.
Normally, we would update our uniforms every second year. To keep costs down for our families, we have decided to keep our 2019/2020 uniforms for the 2021 season, with new uniforms being introduced the following year.
