Comp Day Reminders

Meet Time
Arriving on time is crucial to ensure everything runs smoothly. Athletes will meet their coach, start with a short training session, and then head backstage for warm-up.

Meet Location
  • Where: Corner of T.E. Peters Drive and Gold Coast Highway, at the southern end of the Gold Coast Convention Centre
  • Exact Meet Point: The far left corner of the southern side of the Convention Centre, just outside the doors (see #1 on the map)
  • Coaches: Look for coaches and staff in ‘Staff’ merchandise. Once you’ve dropped your athlete off with their Meet Coach (or Collection Coach for athletes under 12), you can take a break, grab a coffee, or snack. You’ll next see your athlete on the competition floor!

To watch the performances, enter through any of the glass doors along the east side of the Convention Centre (see #2 on the map).

Collecting Athletes - Youth & Junior Teams
Immediately after each team’s performance, we will watch a replay, collect bags, and head upstairs to the main entrance of the Quay Centre. Parents must sign out athletes with staff before leaving

Spectator Seating
We encourage athletes and parents to sit together to cheer on all of our teams. Please be mindful of the venue’s requirements and always remember to take your rubbish with you when leaving the seating area.

Award Presentations
We strongly recommend staying at the venue for the Awards Presentation. It’s an exciting moment for the athletes to celebrate their team’s results and take part in fun activities. Coaches will meet athletes in the Awards area. Athletes whose teams place will receive their medals on the day.
