MAKEUP

Make-up is not required for athletes in our:
Performance Program
Development Program

St Aloysius Angels

Adult Program

Competitive Program

This year, makeup is completely optional. Minimal makeup is allowed such as mascara, light blush, and tidy brows. Use neutral colours for eyes and lips.

We are no longer using a red lipstick. Please do not apply red lipstick for the 2024 season.

Jewellery must be removed for safety and can result in a deduction. It cannot be given to the coach.

JEWELLERY

Jewellery MUST BE REMOVED before arriving at the competition. If you’re worried about having your jewellery out that early, it MUST be removed at your Meet Time. It is a requirement of Event Providers that all jewellery is removed and not taped. This is for the safety of all athletes on the floor and can also mean a deduction in points. It cannot be given to the coach for minding so please ensure you have a bag.

NAILS

Nails need to be cut short so that when facing palm up no nail is visible. NO NAIL POLISH PLEASE!

BODY LOTION/MOISTURISER
Cheer athletes must not moisturise on the day of competition as it will make your skin slippery and difficult to grip (especially Flyers).

TANNING

For older athletes, we recommend a spray tan or applying self-tan but preferably only to exposed skin areas. If you choose to tan, please ensure it’s done 2 days before the competition.
